Event is run by Driving Unlimited. 24 cars max. IIRC I was told that Dojo went to one of these events...How was it? I booked it a week ago....info I was emailed from Driving Unlimited
"Regarding the Portland Track Day, we are hosting the BMW club day on Monday March 26th. As far as our format, again it is strictly educational, so we say street cars only. We may make exceptions based on the circumstance. Helmets are required, but not roll cages, etc. It is a track event for street cars. We typically do not have run groups. We start the day with a track walk, then we all go out train lapping first. After that it is open running. Since it is our advanced guys, it is instruction on demand. We make sure we get in with everyone but it is up to the driver to decide whether they want instruction or not by coming into the pits. We have regular breaks and driver meetings, but all in all, lots of track time. One of our guys reset his tripometer and logged over 300kms on the track that day. It is a high level day with advanced coaching and because it is "lightly" structured, we have a zero tolerance policy for irresponsible behaviour. We have always had responsible drivers there though and have never had problems."
Looking forward to it...coming down from BC with Jeremiah (B6S4) and possibly another Audi friend(B5S4)
Anyone else going/thinking of going?<ul><li><a href="http://www.karelo.com/register.php?BID=49&BT=10#Ev3987">SIGN UP INFO HALFWAY DOWN PAGE</a></li></ul>

idea.
I've run with thema couple of times and instructed prolly 2-3. what I liked is they weren't expensive, they gave you great track time, it's a different group down there as teh advanced guys REALLY are advanced (at least from the times I went out) but all in all well behaved, and worth the money.
Definite HIT.
just make sure the weather is "fair" as most of those guys are RWD so in the dry it's VERY different than the wet... but then you already know that![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
have fun and provide a post trip report for others to check out.
