Default Quattro + Slushy Snow = Bad News

got about a foot of slushy/hard snow on the side streets...my car is so low the bottom of my car would take all the beating...

when i got on the freeway and started going 60-70mph i'd start getting these vibrations..scary vibrations!

wheels misaligned??

suspension??

Default Where the roads sanded?

Check the inside of your wheels. I had a similar thing happen a few years ago... drove through sanded slush and got a whole bunch of sand/rocks in my wheels. Wheels felt like they were out of balance and shook at speed until I cleaned out all the crap from inside the wheels.

Default snow has a tendancy to build up inside your wheels.

that can bake them unbalanced, it's very common.

Check it out.

Default It's just ice/snow buildup on the inside of your wheels. It's happened to me 3 times over the last

few days... mostly from doing doughnuts.

Default Those conditions can also give you weird brake sounds/action untill

the sand/small pebbles work out. Sounds/feels very $$$$.

Cheers,

Default not it's not that, you have a bent drive shaft going to the rear differential

your car is broken, I'll buy it for a thou$and.
