random tech question: alignment - does it matter get aligned with non primary tires?

Default random tech question: alignment - does it matter get aligned with non primary tires?

need a new alignment, running my winter tires now, will I have to re-align with my summers?

dumb question, right?

Default I was wondering the same thing until

I asked a guy at Les Schwab today, you aren't changing the alignment because the wheels bolt to a stationary object which is what is aligned. The only thing that matters is if they are all the same tire (height) and inflated to the same psi (which is something they should check before they start)
