My car is being shipped from Vancouver Washington to Toledo Ohio... The car must be shipped on an enclosed trailer. I used Hog Haulers in the past with great results. However, I'm not sure if they would make the trek back east for 2400 miles...

He was going to have it shipped with DAS (open container) to save some $$$... I've heard horror stories about them. Having this car go across the country (2400 miles) in an open container and taking 2-3 weeks from my door to his freaks me out a bit. It's his car though.

Shipping prices are crazy high compared to 7 years ago when I shipped 7 trucks up from Texas.
The bill was $2300.00 from the southern most tip of Texas to Washington for 7 trucks. I gave the driver $2500.00 because he did it in less than a week.
I'm sure that the fuel prices are jacking the price up now a days!

We used Specialty Mobile Systems for our E55 and they were good.

http://www.transportreviews.com/</a
