RDD

Looking for advice as to which place is recommended. I live in Kirkland so Snoqualmie is more appealing right now b/c it's closer (45min?). Probably just gonna rent a set of equipment up there. I've been to Whistler a few times but have only been up and down the mountain one day at a time so that doesn't really help me get any better. Is it better to go on a Friday or on a weekend day? Any places to eat up there? How do they compare to each other? Any other tips? Thanks!

lots of wide runs with an easy pitch. Stevens has better terrain (aside from Alpental of course) but is a much longer drive. If you are comfortable on blue runs you should do fine at Stevens. Both get crowded on weekends so if you have the option of going on a Friday I'd do it.

I agree, I think Snoq. West is better for beginners.

I agree. Great place to learn. Night Skiing might be better since its easier to see.
