Not the same unit (different car too!), but the same basic idea...elevated intake pressure == quick route to more HP/TQ.

I think mtm and pes are the only two who make a kit. I am not looking at going custom set up. As for IC, unless i go over 10psi i will not see enough of a cooling effect in the charged air to offest the loss of boost.

PES tried it with their g2 on the older 2.8 engines and it simply did not lower the air charge by more than 30 degrees. they had figured 35 degrees of cooling they would see a benifit. The aditional cost is also not likely to have a benifit for such a low boost aplication.

At 10psi the g3 puts out 320 bhp, and 268tq. with the current giac tuning.

I expect with custom tuning we should easily see 15-20 hp and tq more. Which would put it right about where i want it.
