Speeding ticket this weekend in Whatcom county (on the way to Whistler) - What to do?

Time is money for some.
And lawyer fees + $300 sounds like an "option that will cost more $" than $144, so I'm not following the logic there (also understanding your insurance may go up an undetermined amount). Anyway, not worth arguing over and good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Meh
You should put some thought into it though, because if time is so valuable to you, the little bit of time it takes to understand the financial impacts of a speeding ticket on your record are worth it.
A moving violation is not just the cost of the ticket. There is a reason so many people go with lawyers when the fine is less than 50% of the cost of a lawyer.

Call this guy... He has done 2 for me and one for my mom in the last few years.
He charges $250 flat fee, all 3 went away no problem. You just get a letter a few months later saying he was successful and thanks for your business.

Mike Brodsky
