Default Suggestions on getting rid of raccoons

Other than poison, (not the 80's band) what would be a good way for me to rid of raccoons around my house... I had a whole family causing a big ruckus in my back yard last night. They seem to like to camp out under my deck.
I would rather not use any type of poison because there are a lot of neighborhood cats that I don't want to hurt... Any ideas?

Default Have your solution.

srsly. I just got one of these for the garden and it is AWESOME!

The fact that the cats no longer use the garden as a litter box and the deer don't have an all you can eat buffet every night is just the icing on the cake.. the true value of this little piece of equipment is entertainment. I crack up every time one of the neighbor dogs or cats gets blasted! its great.
