Sweet, shots fired across the street last night
Just as I am going to bed I hear a few explosions, gf says "were those gun shots?"
Yep, some douchebag across the street opened fire at who knows what. I only saw him just after he'd put his gun away and was starting to run off as everyone was running to doorways to hide.
Kind of scary actually. 30 minutes earlier, we were at the place he'd just come out of picking up some late night falafel/gyro (its a club/hookah bar/gyro place) I'm sure he was just drunk and got into some argument and started shooting. He fired south on 1st ave (Belltown) where a stray could easily snag one of the many people heading home after a night out.
Really getting tired of all the late night problems this place across the street is causing. I've seen more than a couple pretty serious fights break out and now there is gun fire. Their falafel and gyro is the best in town, so I'd hate to see them go, but having to worry about stray bullets flying through the window is not cool.

Its just annoying
Thankfully I'm removed from the epicenter of douchbagery between Del Ray and Belltown Billiards.
Walking home Friday night, as we were passing Del Ray there was a big line trying to get in, security was doing a **** job of managing it and it was blocking most of the side walk. We're just passing by but security comes up to me and start pushing me yelling "you need to get off the sidewalk, you're blocking the entrance" Not only are the patrons a problem, but security joins the mix too.

That is bad! I live down by Venom and when Tabella was a block away,...........................
it was a freaking war zone on Western and Bell. Since Tabella closed it still is very amusing- after 2am- to watch the show as the bars let out. Cars going everywhere and over everything. We should meet up soon for a beer and discuss the latest in body armor.
