This was just cross-posted in the firearms forum. I didn't realize it was an old thread.
I'm not arguing that the guy was not drunk. I only call into question the motives for the shooting. Shooting a gun to settle an argument is the part that caught my attention. Maybe that's what happened. I just wondered if this was your speculation or based on anything.

Without knowing the background, you never know...
I just commented based on my observations of what seems to drive a lot of the violence that I've seen in the area. Stupid people doing stupid things that are escalated when alcohol is brought into the mix.
