Test Drove 2001 A6, feel like floating over bumpy road, is it normal or something wrong with the car

Yep - my wife's A6 is a totally stock 2.8 (in the sig). I call it the German Buick.
IMO, it's not meant to be driven like the other Audi's, but its great for her. Big, safe, comfy and you don't have to think too much when driving it.
