Test Pipe Pros & Cons?

Default I don't think you will fry your EGT just because of test pipes. CEL yes.

If the car is setup right the only problem will be potential overboost from less restriction on the turbo (depending on how the software reacts), and CEL from the 02 sensors not detecting voltage difference from the missing cat(s).

Default I fried mine....

...and I was trying to equate that with the potential removal of the primary cats in the DPs and the presumed heat absorbtion that is taken into the secondarys.....but, then again we all know my car runs rich.

Default I would think that since the EGT's for the S4 are located in the exhaust manifold.....

running a test pipe would actually help flow the gases out faster and make everything run cooler. Maybe having the 02 sensor not read correctly could adjust the mixture enough to fry the EGT though.
