I'm talking something close, like the kind of road you can just walk out to your car and go drive hard when your frustrated, and then be back at the house within 45 minutes? I'm feeling the itch right now

Default I asked the same question awhile back, but dont remember finding anything north

a few good things East.

That is one aspect that I think Portland has Seattle beat in, lots of accessible drivers roads.

I'd suggest pull up google maps and look for something twisty around you (look close and just pan in the direction you think might be good). GOOD LUCK!

Default High Bridge Road + W Snoqualmie Valley Rd NE

Twisty and not much traffic. In the middle of farm country.

Heading NW on SR-522, take Echo Lake Rd/Fales Rd exit, turn left under 522, follow Fales Rd to T, turn right on Elliott Rd. Then the fun begins. This road will deposit you back onto Woodinville-Duvall Rd or you can take it further south and end up on SR-202.<ul><li><a href="http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&amp;FORM=LMLTCC&amp;cp=47.812982~-122.035789&amp;style=r&amp;lvl=13&amp;tilt=-90&amp;dir=0&amp;alt=-1000&amp;scene=12644059&amp;phx=0&amp;phy=0&amp;ph scl=1&amp;encType=1">Map Linky</a></li></ul>

Default Also, Tokul Rd SE right next to Snoqualmie Falls is a nice short run of spirited driving

again, got that from the PNWRIDERS group. Though it's a short run, theres good thrills to be had.

Great views up against Mount Si, no too many cops. Really cool being up that close to Mount Si, it seems so huge!
