What does "defered your ticket mean"? Thanks.

Default In WA state you are allowed to defer 1 moving and 1 nonmoving violation every 7 years...

You go to court, pay the fine, and if you dont get another ticket in a defined amount of time the ticket is off your record. Or something similar.

I was doing 90 in a 60 in Colville and had to go back to court there. Paid my fine, got my ticket deferred with an out of state license.

Default ^^2nd^^ deferment is the way to go when you are clearly in the wrong.

Insurance won't see it and usally the time limit is 1 year with no tickets and it all goes away.

Should I do that even if I have an out of state (PA) license?

Default If given it as an option I say yes.

No reason not to take this option if you were clearly in the wrong and can handle not getting a ticket for a year. It doesn't end up on your record and doesn't impact insurance. You are out just the money for the ticket. A lawyer will cost more than that.

On mine they even offered a zero interest payment plan over the 1 year. Kind of funny.
