Futrell Autowerks has been named the Title Sponsor for the 2007 waterwagens event. Northwest European is proud to welcome Futrell Autowerks to the sponsorship line-up this year, as they bring a unique and diverse background to the waterwagens line up. 2007 marks the seventh annual waterwagens event and is expected to be the largest yet, with the car show, drag racing, and many new additions for all Volkswagen and Audi enthusiasts.
The team at Futrell Autowerks are Pacific Northwest locals and industry leaders in all things relevant to Volkswagen and Audi tuning and repair. They have two locations in the Northwest's prime markets; Beaverton, Oregon approximately two miles west of Nike's world headquarters and in Bellevue, Washington on Bel-Red Road just minutes from I-405, Highway 520, and the Microsoft Main Campus.
Futrell Autowerks has been in business in the Northwest for over six years and they are the oldest running APR distributor in the Northwest, and one of the first on the West Coast - you can count of them to be the Northwest's authority on APR products. Northwest European presents their seventh annual waterwagens event at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA on July 29th, 2007. This event is the largest VW and Audi specific event in the Northwest, with the 2006 occasion showcasing over 300 show and race cars from across North America, plus over 3,000 event attendees.
Northwest European continues with hosting the event at Pacific Raceways in 2007, as this allows them to again offer a multitude of events. While the car show has been the foundation that waterwagens was built on, the addition of drag racing, on site dyno testing, and some very specific new events for 2007, waterwagens continues to grow with the support of the community and our sponsors.
Make plans now to spend your last weekend in July in the great Pacific Northwest to enjoy a full day of excitement at the annual waterwagens event. There will also be supporting events and activities that run all weekend leading up to the Sunday event.
