Where's the best spot to watch the Blue Angels from?

Yep. They let you walk out a ways on both ends of the bridge.
There is also a small park on the west (Seattle) end of the bridge on top of the tunnel that is a great viewing point. Gets packed so get there early and plan to park away from there if you don't want to wait and hour to get out afterward.

I was thinking the bridge as well, but my friend had said the bridge is closed.
So I'm a bit confused. Can I walk the entire length of the bridge? Or am I limited to the deck at either end of the bridge (but not walk out to the middle)?
Also, how early do I need to get out there? Blue Angels are scheduled for 1:30pm. Do I need to secure a spot by 12noon, or by 8am, or some time in between?
Thanks everyone for the pointers!
