Default ugh..Ruth's...my top 3

My current top 3:

1) El Gaucho (baseball cut sirloin is the BEST)
2) Jak's
3) Daniel's Broiler

On my "to-do" list:

Morton's

Every time I've been to the Met, its been incredibly dry. We've had to send one meal back each time for being improperly cooked. Its overrated.

Default Jacks, DC's (met), and El Gaucho are my favs...And Charlies (out of state)....

Got lucky enough to get the private vip room at El Gaucho, with our own personal server and bar tender, our own cigar lounge with over sized leather chairs. We were there for about 4-5 hours. And only $100 per person, great experience and very good steaks. USDA Prime!

Default I used to go to my friend's- he got steak from his neighbor who raised cows

on his property. Buy a half-side at a time.

Talk about fresh beef.

Nice! We use to have some cows around, can't get better than home grown beef

I agree, the Ruth is not what it used to be. I had a simlar experience in Bellevue, with a sub-par waiter, overcooked filet (I choose not to ever send food back), bland tasting sides. I will not return.
