Default Need recommendation for reputable body shop in Seattle, WA

Got into an unfortunate fender bender with my 2004 A4 3.0Q right before the holidays and need advice / recommendation for a reputable body shop in Seattle.

Like most of the folks in these forums I'm on the OCD side when it comes to my car, and new to Seattle. Body shops tend not to spend a lot of time creating web sites (even in Seattle) so Google and CitySearch aren't much help.

Can anyone help me out?

Default Ditto.

They just did my RS4 bumper and previously worked on my A4. I have had good experiences there....not perfect experiences but, they have owned up to necessary fixes.

Default CSI (collision specialties inc) in Ballard right on leary/15th.

The people that started it used to run university Audi's bodyshop, they do very good work and from personal experience I would recommend them. Queen City is great too, but very expensive and harder to get some insurance carriers to pay for. (especially progressive)

Who's insurance is paying for this, or is it out of pocket?

Default University Audi?

I'm going through insurance (Nationwide) since according to the adjusters this one is on me.

It was a "hey, let's both merge into the same lane at the same time" deal, and according to the damage I appear to be at fault. No tix, just insurance payer wise.

I went to University Audi last night to replace a missing floor matt and while I was there got their collision guy to look at it also. I was surprised to hear that they do more than chips and dings there.

Any reason I would not want to just let them repair it?

Default CSI has a longer track record, I don't know about university's in house collision repair

Do they even have in house? You sure they're not just going to send you to CSI?

They are the best IMO. Custom fabrication to standard fix-ups they do it all, and do it very well!
