Have you ever tried a manual boost controller?I like the Profec a little better then the apexi but still. Where did you tap the vacume line to hook up your boost controller? The closest to the turbo compressor the better.

I have the HKS boost controller and I tapped one of the vacum lines on the compressor housing and the other one is T-ed on to the line to the by pass valve.

Your BC spikes? My profec B is rock steady no matter what I throw at it.

Default Hmm, I think it may be because my boost controller uses fuzzy logic to help spool up...

I haven't had the chance to recalibrate it or log runs in a while so I should probably play around with it some more. Mine only spikes in 1st and 2nd gear btw, so for now I think I'll just set low boost for about 1.2 bar for low gears and high boost to 1.4 and flip it over after I get moving.

Hmm, I'll have to give them a call and talk to them about it.

Default How many lines are going to the HKS boost controller step motor?

Are you running a external or internal wastegate on your turbo?

Default Opps, your running the PES T28 kit and I think your running your EBC the wrong way.

Not sure why you would have to T onto the vac line at the compressor since the EBC line replaces the stock vac line. You should have removed the 2 stock vac lines that go from the N75 valve to the compressor and to the wastegate. You then take 1 of those lines and loop it to cover the 2 ends of the N75 that you just took off the vac lines. Now install 2 new lines from the wastegate and compressor housing to the new EBC step motor. If the step motor has 3 lines to it the 3rd line then goes over to the vac line to the bpv and you install a T.

It almost sounds like you still have the line going from the compressor housing over to the N75 valve and then installed a T to run a line to the EBC motor, this will not work since the N75 valve is now seeing pressure when it should not.
