Default Anyone dyno a Stage III and/or III+ car?

Just interested in the actual output of a Stage III or III+ to the wheels (4 or 2).

Default Here you go...

Default Sad thing is, my motor looks to be only good enough

to be the starter on that 1.8t that Lucas has put together. Those con rods are something else.

Default Sweet, what was corrected?

That dyno lists actual output...

If it was a cold day, corrected may be a little lower.

I just noticed that this was at altitude, so corrected may be higher??

If this is with and without cams, they made a nice diff on the top-end...

Default Re: Sweet, what was corrected?

Bear in mind that altitude correction for a turbo, especially the Audi which senses mass air flow and adjusts boost to compensate, is a LOT less than correction for an NA engine.

Default You are right- the correction factor for my car at 5300ft

is probably somwewhere between 6 and 12 percent. The numbers on that dyno chart have no corrections for anything factored in(temp, alt, hum etc.) I would love to do a dyno closer to sea level to see just what would happen. I know, different dyno, different day but the differences should be apparent. I know when I had my K04 kit and I went to Scottsdale, AZ the car felt so much stronger so there is some correction involved. That dyno was with the Schricks.

Default An Integra with 200 hp to wheels N/A?

Wow that is quite a feat if you plan to make the car completely streetable. If it's for the track then it wouldn't be a problem. I remember when I took my Integra to DPR for headwork. I came up with about 155 to the wheels, not too bad for an LS. They had 2 poster cars one LS which put out 218hp to the wheels but the car was ONLY for the track, it was thier race car. The other was a GS-R which put out about 180hp to the wheels and this was with complete engine work, they did everything possible to the engine. the car was very streetable with a solid idle. This was about 2 years ago and I haven't been keeping up with Integra technolgy since. I do know that DPR went under about a year ago. Keep me posted on your results, good luck.

That graph is for crank horsepower by the way.
