Max at ER said they're hands down better than the 712s, which is fine with me for now. Once I go through these snow tires (17s), I'll get a snow-oriented all-season tire for my Spyders. They should last until I use up the Falkens on my new 18s, then I'll try some of that new technology you're talking about. The Falken Azenis Sport is supposed to be coming out in 18s by the end of the year. The compound is supposed to be more durable than the curent Azenis Sports, and it's supposed to not get as greasy at high temps.
Just thinking "en voz alta"...

they grip about as well or better then the 712's, they are quieter and should last a little longer. I'm happy with them.

if I blow a turbo I'd probably go K04...might as well upgrade.

Also, its not like your going to notice the extra "lag" of a K04. Its still a dinky turbo that spools wicked fast.
