I've got a 2002 3.0Q A4. Wondering if the Paltinum +4 are safe to use and worth it? The dealer says not to do it, is there anything else I should look out for? Thanks...

Safe? Sure, don't see why not, a few Audi engines came with platinum plugs from the factory (just not +4's).
Worth it? Not likely.
Your car uses an NGK PFR6U-11G, which appears to already be a platinum core plug (pic is of the PRF6Q, but yours should be similar).

If anything, I'd go to a Bosch Super or NGK that uses a triple (copper) electrode setup.
