Help: Aftermarket in-dash CD deck on 99 A6
I have a 99' Avant, and I wanted to have an aftermarket in-dash CD deck replacing my current cassette deck.
I went to a car stereo place for installation, and they told me that replacing the factory unit with the aftermarket CD player will destroy the sound of the factory Bose System.
Has anyone tried this and disappointed with the result? Is this really a bad move as the car stereo place guys told me?

I had the same questions but i replaced it anyways. I love it. It sounds better than ever. Please email me if you would like more info about it and i also have a suggestion for installation.
