Default Re: So what happens when the belt stretchs

well, heres the thing, theres no slack whatsoever.
You have no idea how hard it was to install the belt in the first place.

Default Re: I have my stock ATW block bored and stroked.

I think the 8:1 is where youre really hurting.
9:1 would have been preferable I think.

Still, this gives you plenty of headroom for larger things.

Default Idle is oddly smooth !?!

Strange thing is, the car idles like a champ without the MAF, N75 or any O2 sensors connected.
In fact the turbo isn't even connected, its just blowing straight up into the air.

And its very quiet considering it doesnt even have a downpipe yet.

Default Larger things is what I am doing right now.

We lowered the CR down to run 30psi out of a large turbo. I think 9:1 would have been fine with something smaller like the K03,K04 or T28/GT25.

Default You mean the 1.8T to 2.0T conversion. Sorry man, but I know of someone else who has one in Canada.

If you mean a straight up stock 2.0T from Europe then yes, it's the first that I know of.

well, one of the first then

what did he use to get the 2l displacement?
stroker crank + pistons or did he use a 2.0 block from a Golf/Jetta?

My case is the latter, so its not a 1.8t -> 2.0t but instead a 2.0L 8v -> 2.05L 20v Turbo.
The engine is in my GTI.
