K03 or k04 with bigger kkk compressor side?

Whats the deal with the K04-23 compressor, its HUGE. Any idea?

Default The K-16 is similar in size to a Garrett T-25. This is a very expensive piece and there are kits...

from Euro tuners that offers them at very expensive prices more than the APR and PES kits. The hybrid KO-4's are supposed to be an alternative to the bigger turbo kits out there. It will not beat the bigger turbo in terms of HP but it will give a better bottom and in some cases midrange power. It will always be perceived as a notch below the big turbo due to the popularity's perception of HP which is quite obvious on the forum. Presently, there are solutions to get a big turbo to spool up like a small one but its still a working progress from the manufacturers and race teams that try them on the track attempting to make them reliable enough for public consumption.

Default That pic was taken from the folks I bought the turbo. Unfortunately, I did not have a digital cam..

at the time of install to take pics of the turbo especially next to the stock KO-3 for comparison.

Default Really, who gives a crap what cmh thinks! Show the pics so we who want a different turbo can make up

our own minds, WITH OUR OWN MONEY! I personally don't care for his biased oppion.

Why not just buy a K04-23 since it will fit onto the stock manifold.
