...so the GT25 has a slightly larger turbine than this T3 setup. The Ceramic BBs in the GT25 setup compensate for the larger turbine. The smaller (relative) T3 turbine makes up for the spool up delay.
Will the GT25 still spool up slightly faster? Probably. Is it worth an extra $700? Nope.

I'm sure u will have plenty of power as is, but wg does matter. My porsche 924T had oem ext wg, with long discharge pipe to exit end of cat.
The T3 wg has some history of creating turbulence at the turbine discharge. Even with ext wg, top end power was hurt in the prelude (link) due a crude/short wg pipe job, with tee joint to dp.
For integral T3, a real big dp seems to help.<ul><li><a href="http://www.f-max.com/PreludeSys.htm">T3/T4 prelude</a></li></ul>

I have also heard that venting a WG to atmosphere causes for some really ugly fart noises from the vent. I think I'll pass
