Is there a way to check bypass valve with a VAG??
Not sure whats going on but once in a while after I shift the car feels almost like the clutch is slipping but I know thats not the case. The car seems to lack power then after a second or so I feel the power kick in.
My car has less than 9000 miles (2002 1.8T) so I cant see how the BPV is bad already. If it is bad I'd like to just replace it with something better. Either the TT valve or maybe invest in one of the aftermarket one's. I'd rather fix this myslef rather than take the car to the dealer only to have them just tell me "it's fine" or they just replace the BPV with the same thing.
If I can do it with my VAG, what exactly do I need to look at and under what driving conditions?
TIA.

Its not so much the money but the PITA it would be to change it.
I heard from a few guys here that it's harder for some reason on the 2002's
Besides, I want to play with the vag.
There are only so many times I can reprogram my doorlocks
