Yeah, that oughta get you at least 8 million hits to wade through.
Leroux - there's no BEST chip.
The two most popular ones around here are APR and GIAC. They're both VERY good chips.
GIAC seems to be a bit more powerful, but the APR option provides a clearer upgrade path.
I went APR, but lotsa other have GIAC and are satisfied too. I've driven both and like both.

After much researching i decided...
One issue to consider is future upgrades. If you have plans for upgrading to a KO4 turbo then GIAC is the best choice. If you have big plans of $280+hp then go for the APR chip. I had a GIAC chip and it hits hard but its not nearly as smooth as the APR KO3 chip. I think ultimately the GIAC has more power but the APR feels more refined. Depends on your taste.

I was curious about this also. I just picked my 2001 a4 quattro up last tuesday the 10th. I wanted to know if anyone had any opinions about the Wetteraur chip for the 01 a4 quattro.
