Heck I even keep the engine compartment detailed and looks better than when I picked it up. The 20's are lucky if they have 6000 miles on them as I have a dedicated set of winter tires and wheels. So yes I'm going to go with excellent condition.

And your also right about a 2012 Q5, little improvement. My 2009 actually has heated seats that work. My information center actually tells me what gear I'm in rather than just a D or S. I think IMO that the 2009 Sline wheels are the best looking so far and probably not to many around here that have them. And I don't have servotronic steering. So it's very hard for me to get excited about a new Q5. That's why a S4 might bring a little excitement back.

The closest dealer is 50 miles away and we've done a fair amount of business with them. If there not going to try and keep my business (still poor economy) I find it hard to believe that someone else will.

I can try and sell it myself and see what kind of market there is, or keep it, or try some other dealerships and there far and few between here.
It doesnt really doesnt matter what condition your Q5 is in, a 2 year old car is usually rated at good condition with the KBB rating.
I would try a different dealer, but most of them have a set differantial number that they can work with. If they give you more for a trade in, then they will discount less on the new car, it all come out the same at the end. The best thing to do is to sell it yourself, you might be able to get close to $40K for it. The winter tires are definitely a selling point.
Personally, I would hold onto it, there really not that much difference between the 2009 and the 2012 Q5 that would make me consider losing $10K. If the 2012 offers the 3.0T engine, thats another story.
