Default 2011 Audi Q5 2.0 oil pressure warning

I have a 2011 Audi Q5 2.0 car didn’t work when I first bought it. Valves were bent and were all replaced. Cambridge screen was removed since it was broken and loose when car was fixed. Car runs fine when driving just when you slow down or at idle oil pressure light comes on then goes away when driving. I don’t know what to do or change next. I have changed both oil pressure sensors, vvt oil sensor , electric magnetic cam shaft that goes on Cambridge, oil pump. Has new upgraded timing chain new timing adjuster new chain plastic rails. Let me know your ideas?

Oil pressure in the EA888 2.0T is a common problem, with any myriad number of causes. If you've already been through the cambridge, you might check the o-rings in the insert that sits under the oil filter. Could possibly be the oil pump. Worst case would be the balance shafts. could also be PCV but for that just check the crankcase vacuum with a vacuum gauge; if the crankcase vacuum is normal (0.6 inHg if black cap, 3.0 inHg if white cap) then it's not that. There's no good approach to isolating instance specific root cause that I've seen develop over the years of people posting about the issue.

Pvc valve changed oil pump changed. Orings under filter good. I’ve done a lot of research and there’s no real solution on pin pointing problem. I’m thinking it’s the balance shafts. I found some metal shavings in oil pan when changing oil pump. Guess I’m gonna have to take this whole car apart again one of these days

Another one is debris from the screen in the check valve between the cylinder head and block. Lots of places of possible issue that you just can't validate without a major disassembly.

Would it make sense to replace the piston rings while you've got it apart?

If you're burning oil, sure. If you're not, that's a lot of extra work, since you have to pull the engine, etc.
