2011 q5 wont start
i have a 2011 q5 3.2 and it ran out of gas but got started again to get it to the gas station 2 weeks after that it wont start in the morning today it does it again my mechanic said their was a fuel pump failure in the computer anyone know anything else to help me with it

Running out of gas is an easy way to burn up a fuel pump. I try to never go below 1/4 tank if I can, just to be on the safe side.

Yeap...Too late for woulda, coulda, shoulda, but bringing the gas to the car would have been my preference. Starting her up in an attempt to get her to the station was probably the killer, as the gas is what lubricates the FP.
If under warranty, I would not tell them I ran out of gas as that might put the bill on you. Just say'n.
