For only $500 I would definately get a '13. Headlights will look a little nicer, better steering, less brake dust. Plus they probably improved things you wont see aka build quality is most likely improved a little. For resale purposes 1 year newer too.

money wise 2013 might be a smarter choice
but i got a 2012 anyway. the facelift is a big turn off to me.

2012 vs 2013
Great info. But what discount would you look for off of a 2012 that would make it tempting over a 2013. For instance if you could get the 2012 for 10%, or 15% or 20% off msrp, would it be a good choice over the 2013. thanks.

Better brakes doesn't necessarily mean less brake dust. The brake compound has more to do with dust.
