I have a 2012 2.0T in my Q5. Bought it at 37k miles certified preowned. Between the time I bought it and the 45k mile maint., it burned one quart. I just hit 51k. miles yesterday and decided to check the oil screen (got no indications that I was low on oil) and low and behold the screen showed the bar empty! I put two quarts in, still empty! I ordered the dipstick last night, but until it gets here, is it possible there is a problem with the indicator/sender? I def don't have a leak I would have seen it on my clean concrete driveway.... Motor runs perfectly otherwise, love the vehicle (just wish I could bluetooth audio without buying anything)
Thanks,
Nate

I wouldn't keep pouring oil in. I'd take it to the dealer and let them figure out what's going out. The sensors can be problematic.

From the top to the bottom of the bar graph is about 1 liter of oil, we believe.
The car also issues a low oil level warning soon after the bar hits the bottom of the bar graph.
