Default 2012 Q5 Rear Parking Sensors

Curious if I am doing something wrong.. I have 2012 Q5 - back-up camera chip is NOT installed yet. Should the rear senors detect cars and or obtacles when backing up? Front sensors are fine

The front and rear sensors have seperate volume/tone settings. Make sure the rear sensor volume is not turned all of the way down. In mine, i have the front sensors set to a different volume/tone than the back so i can tell, acoustically, when the front is getting close to something while backing up.

I have resloved my problem, I went to eack connector under the bumper and applied presure to be sure they were seated. Post this action I am recieving both the visual and audio signal on the MMI . suspect one may have been loose during transit

Default Differrent Pitch for Front and Rear

There is also a slight difference in pitch between the front and rear sensor sounds. I've noticed this when backing out of our garage and the rear sensor detects the doorframe on the right side, followed by the left front as i have already started turning by that time. Perhaps a "half-quaver" difference or so.
