Just curious if they have gone to a better quality (aluminum) trim on the new S LInes. Heard earlier reports of cheesy, aluminum beer can type material for the trim around shift console. This was kind of a turn off on choosing S Line, so just wondering if Audi beefed the material up.
Cant wait !!!! Ordered S Line, Lava grey, Bang and Olaf, with the Pano.

I have a 2012 and have never really had a problem with the Aluminum trim being soft. Of course, I never really touch it and it has no marks on it in 6 months of use

Cheesy beer can aluminum...LOL. Very descriptive! Wait until you pull your key fob out and it drops onto the aluminum. Instant dent. Cost? Several hundred dollars, plus labor. C'mon Audi, you can do better!
