Read through this post -- not sure if your experience/issue is the same but Audi's lack of a solution does. They were deliberate but eventually replaced my '12 with a '13 -- ZERO out of my pocket. Bravo to them. Sounds like you may be headed down the same path.

Here's hoping my problem is solved. I picked up the car this evening, and they said that Audi was able to update the software for the Mechatronic unit via remote. The dealer had been unable to accomplish the upgrade on their own. So far, so good. Time will tell. I am still a little confused why it took 3 days plus a weekend to accomplish such a seemingly minor thing, but there you go.
