Hi all,
Just got my 2014 SQ5 serviced (6yr/85,000km) and the dealer mentioned something about "LF headlight level sensor connecting to lower control arm damaged". I was wondering what exactly this is and if the fix is necessary? The quote I got from the dealer to service this is CAD302 for the part + labour (~CAD176) + tax for a total for ~CAD555. This is quite expensive so I just wanted to know if this needs to be repaired or if I could just let it be?
The person helping me out at the dealer said that it isn't really urgent but recommended.
Thank you!

There seems to be quite a few Q5/SQ5s with damaged headlight level sensor to lower control arm posted on these forums. Won't why this happens. Sometimes the sensor rod just pops out and you can pop it back.
