Looks like the 3.0T and the 3.0TDI S-line pkg are slated to come standard with the 20" wheels listed on those forms as:

20" 10-spoke-turbine design Anthracite bi-color

Which are these:

Would a different wheel be more? Those are atrocious on an S-line body, IMO. Not sporty at all.

Also see their terminology is no longer "S-line" for standard pkg, and "S-line Plus" for black optics pkg. Now they have dropped the black optic pkg and are calling everything S-line Plus?

EDIT:
I see there are 2 different wheels there. It looks like standard S-line get these, and adding S-line Plus pkg gets you 20" 5-arms. Just not black optic any more.... boo Audi on that one. Wonder why the S-line plus pkg is $500 more expensive on the TDI vs the 3.0T?

3.0T has Sline bumpers stock, TDI does not. See discussion below

Those are the hybrid's 20" wheel option. All the "turbine" wheels are hybrid-specific. The optional 20" wheel for the 3.0T/TDI is the "5-arm-design wheel" (which is the 2013 S-Line wheel), and the S-Line wheel is "20" Titanium 5-segment-spoke-design wheel" (which is the peelers).

S-Line Plus means the old S-Line plus the "high gloss black package" (no option for S-Line with standard chrome/aluminum trim).

Wonder why the S-line plus pkg is $500 more expensive on the TDI vs the 3.0T?
The TDI doesn't come standard with "S-Line exterior", so we'd have to pay for that in addition to the rest of S-Line (suspension, ADS, interior).

Based on the Order Guide, is it true you can not have a custom color at this time for a 2014 Q5? Also has the price gone up as well? I was always told it is around $2500, but based on order guide it's listing an exclusive exterior paint color at $3900. I was seriously considering this at $2500, but at almost $4000 I'm not sure I can justify it. Thanks.

Yes, that's the way it looks. Not available on a Q5, and for the cars it is available for it costs $3900. I hadn't read that before and retract my generic comment about getting Audi Exclusive color

It's worth noting that either Audi has a typo (gasp!) in the Order Guide, or they are calling it differently on TDI vs 3.0T. On the 3.0T the package is called "S line package" and on the TDI it is called "S line plus package".

Also both are consolidated onto a single line (multiple times) in the PIB (which could be just done for convenience), and in there it's called "S lineŽ plus package"

Default 2014 tow option more generally; price increase there and some other things

On the hybrid, I'll speculate it is probably a typo/omission on the tow option, but we will see. I have it ordered on my 2013 Q5 Hybrid Euro delivery for when it comes through the port here.

More generally in 2013 the tow option without side assist was $800, and $850 w/ side assist. I see Audi increased it in 2014 to $820 and $920, respectively.

The cargo net (which I've gotten free on my prior Audis but don't use anyway) went from $124 to $150, layered oak went way up, from $500 to $850, and metallic paint went from $475 to $500.

What sort of pricing are people getting from dealers? I was quoted a price only about 2% below MSRP...which doesn't seem too great.

With ACNA (I'm a member for 3yrs now), it is 6% off of MSRP and the dealership is re-imbursed 2% of MSRP. So, at that point, it is like the dealership is discounting the car 4%, yeah? Then there is $1000 Audi Loyalty (currently have an RS4). Is that the bottom line best price? -6% + $1000 discount?

My bottom line price from the dealer is 7.8% below MSRP. Seems pretty much as good as I could hope for. That's with ACNA disc and the Loyalty. If Audi changes loyalty the dealer guaranteed at least the $1000...if it goes up I get that but if it drops I'm at $1000. I'm feeling good about that. Any thoughts from any of the more experienced experts out there?
