Correction to my duplicate (sort of) posts above. The product info guide actually states in the 2014 changes section that Lava Gray is metallic and in the exterior color section it states Lava Gray is pearl. The ORDER guide (not the price guide) states it is metallic.
OK, now I have stated it correctly.

I had noted in the Order guide while it states the Q5 is Metallic, the Q7 is listed as Pearl.
Bottom line is they are all paint code 1R1R and google results suggest that it's actually Pearl per all of the touch-up paint website results. Also audiusa.com shows Pearl if you "build" a Q7.

Probably just too close in publication to the 4/26/13 Order Guide that was updated with Side Assist removed. Maybe it will catch the next rev. I've also been told these PIBs tend not to be the best source of info since they're for internal purposes only. Though you'd hope they'd get the right info to salesman...

No change, the "optional" is the nav (allowing DVD). Look at the order guide for the actual options, the PIB is for internal use and I would assume there's less worry about 100% accuracy on it since it's not for public consumption.
