Hi,

I have a 2014 Q5 and for a few reasons, I need to get reclining rear seats - even say 20-30 degree recline will work. Is there such an option I could buy/upgrade to? Maybe my search kung-fu isn't that good or maybe nobody else needed this, but searches on this forum or the Interwebz in generally do not produce any meaningful results.

kamdad unless you're in a market other than N.A.you have reclining rear seats.Lift handle down near the door entrance sill and position seatback forward or back.You also have some lateral adjustment of the whole seat.Bar at front of seatbottom.

Thank you, Murray, but that option folds the seats forward. I need to have it recline back.

No if you push rearward on the seat back as you lift the lever the backrest will tilt rearwards, not a great amount but hopefully you weren't hoping for full rearward recline.

The recline is maybe about 15-20 deg only. and you have a choice of the or straight up. As said before, just open your rear door and lift on the handle near the bottom of the seat. then push the seat back to the upright position. if the seat doesn't reclining for you you just have to pull the handle again to get the seat to reclining (if you can call it that). you cannot recline it more then that as the seat ends up hitting the back plastic in the trunk.
