I have noticed another odd behavior if I have to slow down below 5 mph without actually stopping. Once I do get on the gas, it doesn't want to downshift and feels very sluggish until I get above 15 mph or so. It must be hanging in second or third gear and I am guessing the torque converter may be locked up and thus is reluctant to downshift. This seems a little dangerous if you really do need to accelerate to get out of a situation.
