Very cool.....thanks for posting this ThunderDent. The assembly line makes me think about the BMW factory tour in SC - I walked through the floor where my old X5 was built. Phenomenal experience!

Pretty slick video. This was probably created to allay some customer's concerns of vehicles produced in Mexico. Amazing how automated the process is.

Default Except, I think it's actually in Ingolstadt

having been there, I think the car production footage is Ingolstadt, not Mexico. Notice the animation (as in, not real) for the Mexico buildings. I don't think they are even currently building any current gen Q5's in Mexico.

Also notice the ethnicity of the plant workers in the video here and there; that all looks like the German lines and team demographics I saw in Ingolstadt, mostly on the A3 line they use for the basic tour.

Cool video. As another poster mentioned, the plant seems to be shown as a series of CAD renditions interspersed with real video from the Ingolstadt line.
