I have a 2016 Q5 2.0 with about 28,000 miles my MMI always showed oil full I recently took about a 400 mile trip and decided to check my oil and it is couple of clicks below the full mark. This is my first Audi should I be concerned about oil consumption issues and have it tested by the dealership. Thanks for your time.

Have you checked the oil level again a few days later, sometimes it will read wrong , then right?
Oil level sensors have been known to go bad. Many of us on this forum buy an oil dip stick so that we really know what the physical oil level is.
There are many causes for oil consumption, bad rings, bad PCV valve, etc. If this concerns you a dealer can perform an oil consumption test, should be free if you are still under warranty.

Thanks for the info its been about 10,000 since oil change and its probably at 95% from full. Like I said about 1/2 inch below full. I never noticed it below full before.

Jerster, I would say you're fine.Your car is not consuming oil based on your 10k 95% numbers. That variance from 100% can be due to temperature.

when you first checked your oil level and compared to when you checked it again, were the conditions the same? If anything thing is different (hills, engine temp, ect) you can and will get a different reading.
But if you did check everything the same way each time, and you did have a slight loss of oil I would not be worried. By Audi standards you are not consuming any oil. You can actually look in your owners manual and see what they consider normal for oil consumption.

I love it when they state that 1 quart per 600 miles is considered normal oil consumption, covers them all the time..........
