Dear members,
Has anyone encountered the Audi Q5 engine emissions warning light?
It came on my 2016 Q5 TDI prestige yesterday. It had 7800 miles now.
Please advise what is the best thing to do.

Did it come on when you were parked or driving down the highway?
It came on local road when I was near my home from work yesterday. It stayed and did not go away. I drove about 20 miles after it came.(10 miles on hwy)
My 2015 3.0TDI Prestige also had the warning light come on a few months ago. I live 250 miles from the closest Audi dealer and was very concerned, but when I called the service department I was told "as long as the light is steady (not blinking) it safe to drive. I got the car into the dealership a week or so later and they found that mice had chewed and shorted a sensor wire. I was told that this is not uncommon.

Hi Thank you for your reply. Did you have to pay for the fix? Could you please let me know how much it costed if you did?
I had this problem in 2 occasions with my 2014 TDI, the first time it was a sensor that was defective and the second time it was my NOX pump that was defective.....took it to the dealer and was fix right away.
