We have a '13 3.0T and it's about time for an oil change. I took it to an Audi dealer for the 15K oil change, and rather naively let them do the full "service" on the Q5, so I basically paid over $400 for an oil change. I don't intend to do that again, if I even go back to the dealer at all, but was curious whether there are any actually important maintenance requirements at that ~25,000 mile mark? Do any of you have experience enough with the Q5 and the 3.0T to opine?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Looking at the maintenance booklet, the 25K service is primarily just an oil and filter change.
However, you also need to have your brake fluid changed every 2 years, regardless of mileage, so if it's time, it's time.

That is crazy expensive for the 15K. I think you already know that. I'd seriously try and speak to the Service Manager and see if I could get most of that $400+/15K service applied/prorated to Audicare, which runs around $850+ but would cover you for 25k, 35K and 45K. We paid nothing for those services using Audicare. And your Q 3.0T should be very similar to our 3.2 that we've had for 5+ years.
