even though I haven't tried audible via bluetooth
(since we got a cheap ipod for audible that works great....)
but have my reservations it would work as the MMI seems very 'focused' on what it will allow - but subscribing to see the responses to your query

I have covered this subject many times... the bluetooth in our MMI will NOT, I repeat, will NOT work with anything but the phone call audio.
Some how Audi either disabled the stereo audio (A2DP) profile in the MMI or it's just not there. In order to stream your audio besides phone you will need to purchase an A2DP adapter, either modify the existing iPod/iPhone cable supplied with the car so you can truly just leave the A2DP adapter in the glovebox and forget about it, or purchase a 3.5mm mini jack cable Audi sells and grab a power supply for the adapter.
Either way there is no easy way. Audi just don't want you to distract yourself from driving.

I appreciate your info...and am ready to modify to use the A2DP.. However, people are now reporting that pandora works on the new iphone ios without modification. So I am checking on the android.

radman:
if I am correct they were on the iPod/Phone cable, not via bluetooth... trust me, even if it would work, all you are going to get is just mono and low quality audio since it's not A2DP.
