I'm trying quasi daily searches on web too and so far nothing. From what I saw in searches quasi-real time, the first order guide revelation seemed actually to source to a QW on line article they were in the middle of doing when a few of us found the earliest related file link. AW doesn't do as much of the "news" stuff like it used to.

One thread reply in here within the last few days about a guy's pending order getting bumped to a 2014 was interesting too.

I spoke with the SM @ the local Audi dealer yesterday and asked about pricing for the 14's. He said "It's coming soon." I said "How soon", and he replied "in the next 2 weeks."
We'll see.

Should be 2-3 weeks most likely, and my sales guy's expecting the same as well (he was figuring around 3). Could be a little later, but doubtful it'd be <2. Patience, people, it'll come soon!

Not particularly, as it looked like from the dates that he ordered after the MY2013 order cutoff happened. I'm surprised he wasn't informed up front that the order would end up as a MY2014.

That's my Q5 that got bumped to a 2014 model. I ordered on 4/15,we tried to sneak a last one in as the dealer had a production allocation slot. The 2014 will be nice as it has the newer 2.0T version. It's just that it may take a few more months to get it. There really isn't any change from 2013 to 2014 and the new 2.0T was the standard engine world wide except that the US got the older version, the 2013 to 2014 production line changeover doesn't exist and vehicles should continue to roll without delay.

I'm in no hurry my A4 is flawless and I still say to myself why am I getting rid of it and looking at many potential Q5 issues

Did the order system accept it as a 2013, then it got "pushed back" afterwards? Not sure when exactly the orders closed, but I thought it was the 1st which is where it seemed like you should've been told it would be a 2014. Either way it'll be a 2014 and that's probably a good thing with getting the newest 2.0T (other than it can't go into production until June at the earliest). At least your current car isn't exploding or anything and you were depending on it going into production ASAP.

This is a fairly large dealership, I'm a fussy guy with details, and they told me many times that I could still order a 2013, but the cutoff could be any day. The 2014 deal is basically the same except I will be discounted the price difference between the 2013 and 2014 at the same rate. That's fair and it should be $200-300 for a newer 2.0T and the now standard cellphone Bluetooth setup on the base model....bargain. I didn't really want to wait for the 2014 as I felt the 2014 US version may come with the the start/stop system which I definitely don't want and it now looks like it won't be in the 2014.

I have 3 vehicles, the new Q5 is replacing my A4, I only drive the Audi less than 2000 miles, yes two thousand, a year. The Q5 will be my sort of utility vehicle that I carry my 16 foot ladder on the top....I can see readers making faces!
