Never had issue with it (nock on the wood 3 times).
Best $450 I spend on my options. But if it cost $1200 for Q5 - forget it.

Nice - ok, thanks!

Only issue I had with mine is sometimes it would not unlock when I touched the door handle. This happened maybe 10 times in nearly 3 years.

It's one of the reasons I'm going with a 2012 over a 2011, that's how used to it I've become on my current Nissan Rogue.

Go for it, you definitely will not regret it!

It shouldn't be 1200 its only 615 euro on the German order guide.

One of the dealers we visited said it was $350 USD as a stand alone option. We didn't want it so we never inquired further.

Sounds too low. I would estimate it closer to $800-1000, based on the current price for the prestige package. If they make it $350, why would anyone pay thousands for the prestige pack just to get memory seats and dimming mirrors?

That's what he told us. The prestige gets you lots more than that, however. You get the MMI with park assist, B&O, adaptive headlights, smart key, side assist and thermo cup holder.

No - sound right on the money.
