I want to tint my front windows. Before I do, just curious if anyone who has done this regrets it for any reason?
Thanks.
Thanks.

i made the mistake of paying the dealer to tint the front windows and sunroof prior to delivery.
They did a hatchet job on the sunroof, and the shade of the tint on the front windows was greenish, not charcoal like the rears.
Got them to take it all off and provide a full refund.
Have sourced a local shop which will do the sunroof with 3M UV film, and will match the front windows for both shade and darkness. For LESS than the dealer charged.

Delaers don't tint windows-most likely they sent your Q to a local (probably the cheapest) tint shop.

nope. no regrets at all. i would caution against going TOO dark on the front in ca though. i would hate to get a fix it ticket. i had llumar formula one pinnacle film 50 installed on the sunroof and rear windows, and 35 on the front two. i didn't want the rear windows or sunroof to get much darker, but i wanted the heat and uv protection.

no regrets...maybe could have gone a tad darker than 30%.
those of you tinting your rears too...is it to get them darker than the stock ones? they seem dark enough for me stock.

Pics with percentage tinted would be nice.
Im thinking to go with the legal 50% here. Maybe 30% if im daring.

i was told the rear windows don't have any UV or heat protection, since they're simply dyed. so i wanted the UV and heat protection.

Nope glad I did. Only put 35% on the front but it matches the back real nice. They just changed the laws around here so I'm glad I didn't go any darker or I'd be ripping it out next year when I had to get it inspected. Did 20% on the sunroof.
