Default APR software for 2013s

I just got back from my local APR dealer and was told the software is different from 12s on the 2.0s. I spent $150 in labor costs for them to pull the ECU to discover they don't have a program for it yet. They extracted the stock programming to send to APR to write software for it and will email me when it's available. Kicker is that I have to pay another $150 for them to pull it again when the software is ready. Seems like since they are using my ECU for the extraction and use it to write the program I should at least get it for free haha

I agree, if they are using you to get first access to a 2013, then should reimburse you in some fashion.

I'd check with APR corporate and see what they say about that. Definitely seems like you should get at least that $150 off when you get the tune later.

Sounds like I'd find another local dealer as he certainly didn't do you a favor...

While he did expend time pulling it, he should know whether he can do something before he spends your money...

Did he say he would update you before he started or did he state he'd SEE if he could update you ? If he didn't state the possibility of still charging even though he couldn't do the work, he basically entered a verbal contract to DO the work... if he didn't, his in breach of contract...

Why not say the name of the dealer and location so others don't get taken by them ?

Still nobody has ECU a program for MY 2013 2.0TFSI.
Audi has locked up the software so that it will take a little more time
